Visiting The Winery
Interested in visiting us soon? We've compiled a list of tips to make your visit a fabulous experience. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you at the winery soon.
Travel Time: We are approximately one hour north from the Twin Cities.
When to Visit: We welcome guests every day of the week. For a more intimate experience, we recommend visiting Sunday through Friday as Saturdays are our busiest day of the week.
Visit Time: Wine tasting can take anywhere from a half hour to an hour. Plan on staying longer to enjoy a glass of wine and our tasty food options. We have a beautiful Patio during the summer months, or an Event Center to relax and enjoy your time. Indoor seating is dependent on our event schedule. Please call us at 715-483-WINE to check on seating availability.
Tastings and Experiences: We highly recommend doing a tasting to determine which wine will be your next favorite. Tastings are $12 and include a DDW logo glass and up to five samples of wine. If you have enjoyed a tasting with us previously, bring your DDW logo glass for half off your tasting. See our full list of winery experiences here.
Food Options: While we don't offer table service (except at special events), we offer fantastic hand-crafted pizza and oven baked cheeses. We have high quality Panini sandwiches available seven days a week, made with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Flatbread with tasty dips and small plates featuring gourmet meats and cheeses are also available every day. Outside food and beverage are not permitted in the winery.
Groups: Groups are welcome by advance reservation only. Please contact us at groups@dancingdragonflywinery.com to inquire about reservations.
Area Accommodations: The St. Croix Valley is home to many bed & breakfasts, hotels, restaurants, and scenic attractions making St. Croix Falls a fantastic day-trip or weekend destination. See our recommendations for nearby hospitality and entertainment here.
Pet Policy: While we love animals and have several of our own, we ask that you please leave your pets at home when visiting the winery. Pets are not allowed on the grounds - even for a bathroom break - and it makes us sad to see them locked in your vehicle. Service dogs are always welcome.
