The nose of this nicely balanced red wine features notes of cherry, chocolate, and black currant. It is dry and full-bodied with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Soft, refined tannins, subdued oak, and an acidic finish make Marquessa the perfect food wine. We suggest enjoying it with Bolognese sauce or red meat.
Winemaker’s notes: Marquessa is a dry red wine featuring Marquette grapes. It is drinkable now, and should age nicely for the next few years.
