Reports to: Tasting Room Manager and Assistant Tasting Room Manager
Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and unparalleled experience to all guests visiting our tasting room. Acts as the face of the winery at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
►Provide an educational, fun and positive tasting experience for our guests & members;
►Sell and promote entire DDW brand;
►Recommend and encourage wine club membership to all guests;
►Maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the tasting room bar; and bathrooms;
►Coordinate and lead group tastings; and
►Work at DDW events as required.
Qualifications:
►Providing a wine education while serving guests;
►Meet Tasting Room Server Qualifications;
►Must be 21;
►Must pass the server course; and
►Must have an operator’s permit.
►Being an enthusiastic ambassador of all that is the DDW brand;
►Ability to work as part of a team/family;
►Ability to work independently without supervision;
►Sales aptitude and understanding of all components of sales; and
►A passion for wine and deliverance of exceptional hospitality!
Skills:
►Oral and written communications skills;
►Customer relations;
►Computer literacy;
►Availability to work a varied schedule including weekends and most holidays;
►Ability to work in a team environment;
►Ability to stand for long periods of time;
►Ability to lift up to 40lbs;
►No direct industry experience required; and

►Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role would be preferred, but not required
